Dear Industry Members
We provide the advice below to help you manage your submission lodgements prior to Christmas shutdown. We are pleased to inform you that we have made significant changes to the timeline restrictions, based on your feedback last year. We have removed the time line restrictions for all Design, Operational and Final Acceptance submissions for infill developments. They will follow the 20 working days turnaround times as usual. The same applies for Estate Developments as well with the exceptions of the following submissions below.
- Operational Acceptance (OA) Submissions which include playgrounds, barbeques, bins, bubblers and other contract/programmed maintenance items are to be lodged with DRAA by COB Friday 13 November 2020.
- Consolidation Commencement (CC) Submissions are to be lodged prior to COB Friday 27 November 2020.
- Soft Landscape Handover (SLH) submissions are to be lodged with DRAA by COB Friday 20 November 2020 (This scheduling is to ensure the timely handover of assets and to allow sufficient time to arrange the inclusion of these elements on the maintenance program of TCCS and their contractors).
- Estate Development Plans (EDP) are to be lodged prior to COB Friday 20 November 2020. Estate Development Plans (EDP) Submissions not lodged prior to the cut-off date will not be considered for review until Monday 11 January 2021.
Submissions received after the above said dates until COB Friday 8 January 2021 will be considered as received on Monday 11 January 2021 for the purpose of calculating turnaround times for submissions. Standard turnaround times for responses will apply from Monday 11 January 2021.
Please note we will make all the efforts to meet the target dates in the table. However, if we have a large influx of submissions (especially in the last two weeks) beyond our resource capacity to assess, then we may not be able meet these target dates. We will however notify you if this happens.
The primary reason we were able make this change is we will have more resources available due the COVID impact. The items we have placed timeline restrictions are unavoidable as they have to be placed into a program to allow the service to commence. We hope this works better for you compared to previous years. We will be happy to revaluate again next year for further improvements if required.
